Evolution of Smooth (EOS) lip balms come in all kinds of flavors from Shimmer Sheer Pink to Passion Fruit to Sweet Mint. Hence its name, it is believed to be the next step in which the chapstick and lip balm business combine and continue to help soothe dry and cracked lips. EOS lip balm products are designed to make the lips more natural-looking and smooth. Among the celebrities currently promoting the EOS lip balm products are Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, and Kim Kardashian.
Before EOS came along, shopping for a fancy chapstick meant skipping the original and choosing between only a few flavors such as strawberry or cherry. When the ball-shaped lip balms started to hit the shelves at major grocery and pharmaceutical chains in about 2009, fashion magazine editors and main female celebrities could not seem to get enough of them.
EOS products were founded by packaged-goods worker, Sanjiv Mehra, Jonathan Teller, and Craig Dubitsky. The three of them wanted to find a way to be creative in the beauty isles. They said that they had noticed that the chapstick business was a rather “lazy” one and saw a grand opportunity. First, they noticed that the chapsticks were being sold as unisex products, however, they were being used mostly by women. As they interviewed potential consumers, they quickly found that they liked the idea of a more potted-shaped product but not the idea of having to apply it using a finger. As a result, Mehra, Teller and Dubitsky gathered their own state capital and funds and proceeded to re-design the whole world of lip balm with the help of a clay artist. They were determined not to make the products just a passing fad. As a result, they designed and created them in a way that they would appeal to all five physical senses. Almost eight years later, EOS lip balm and other products can still be seen in major drugstores such as Walgreens and CVS Pharmacy, refer also here at douglas.de.
